Project Description

“Principles for data access and verifiability of digital documents” are defined in the GDPDU and are an administrative regulation issued by the Federal Ministry of Finance (BMF). This regulation regulates data access to digital data in order to align the tax authorities’ audit methods for tax-relevant information stored by a company or its service providers with modern accounting techniques. External audits are enabled by GDPDU, standardized and optimized by new digital audit methods. Companies of all sizes are obliged to store data in accordance with GDPDU requirements and to keep it available for any upcoming audit. Data must be stored and retained for long periods of time without any possibility of modification. We at Logata offer our customers GDPDU-compliant storage systems to keep their data safe for the prescribed period. At the end of the period, the stored data is then automatically removed from the systems in accordance with the regulations and without residue. We would be happy to assist you in implementing this regulation.
